Amiga ProTracker & Atari ST Cubase
My first computer-based music production began with Commodore Amiga ProTracker and Atari ST Cubase. Guitars, synthesizers, recording and music production remained part of my life afterward.
I'm currently taking a professional course to strengthen my IT fundamentals and develop my technical skills through practical projects.
I started working with networking and Cisco Packet Tracer, followed by MySQL databases, and I am currently learning Python basics.
I began using AI more and more as a tool for learning, troubleshooting and understanding unfamiliar technical subjects.
But I didn't stop there. I started experimenting with it.
Instead of only using AI to explain Cisco configurations, databases or code, I became interested in what could happen when AI became part of the creative process itself. That led me into experimenting with interfaces, websites, visual concepts, software ideas, storytelling, film, product concepts and what is sometimes called vibe coding.
Eventually, many of those experiments started coming together here.
AEON V2 is my personal, independent, non-commercial concept platform. I use it to practice and experiment across IT, AI, interface design, software concepts, film, music, visual design and AI-assisted software creation. Not everything here is intended to become a product. Some ideas are experiments. Some will change or disappear. Others may continue to develop.
The concept and practice level: non-commercial experimentation without the requirement to become a finished product.
For concepts developed and tested far enough to become commercially valuable premium products or services.
For exceptional premium concepts or products developed to a level that may justify an individual or very limited release rather than conventional mass production.
My first computer-based music production began with Commodore Amiga ProTracker and Atari ST Cubase. Guitars, synthesizers, recording and music production remained part of my life afterward.
In 1997 I began releasing music with Lava Lounge on the compilation Planet Beats.
In 1998 the Lava Lounge album Electro Desert was released.
I lived in Cologne from 1997 to 2004. In 2000 I performed with my band Laconic on NBC.
I worked as an Apple merchandiser from 1998 to 2000. In 1998, ahead of the original iMac launch, I was trained on the new computer and later carried out regular retail checks to keep display iMacs stable, operational and ready for customer demonstrations.
In 2007 I was assigned to promote the original iPhone in Germany. Ahead of its German market launch, I received an iPhone to familiarize myself with the device and prepare for customer presentations.
In 2008, I spent around seven months as a promoter in a dedicated Apple department, working with the broader Apple product range. I was also provided with an Apple notebook for the work.
Promotional assignments continued at different times until around 2013, for example for Deutsche Telekom, a company I worked with on several occasions. I continued using Apple products personally for many years afterwards, including a MacBook Pro and iMac through around 2017, and currently use an iPad again.
In 2015 I worked for Fujitsu. From 2023 to 2025 I worked in Adobe Customer Retention.
Between 9 December 2012 and 22 June 2015 I completed the SGD distance-learning course “Filmproduktion – professionell gemacht”. The course covered film history, film language, digital video technology, video editing, image editing, screenplay, project planning and storyboarding, camera work and a practical project.
The first four years of twelve years living abroad began in Lisbon.
One year close to the Atlantic. Surfing became one of the hobbies that grew from living near the ocean.
Five years in Peniche, with the ocean and surf culture becoming part of everyday surroundings.
I then spent another two years living in Lisbon. Travel during the wider journey also included places such as the Azores, Ericeira and Madeira.
A new project, certificate, skill, experiment, photograph, trip, success, failure or change of direction can become another dated entry here. I know where I have been. I know where I am today. But no one knows where the journey really goes.
This section isn't about following my journey. It's about continuing your own.
Learn. Explore. Create. Experiment. Travel. Change direction. Discover something new.
And keep developing yourself.
